Why take the TOEFL test?

The difference between the TOEFL online and paper tests (in the past)
This test is conducted online and on paper, and the way the two are conducted is different from each other. Of course, today the TOEFL online test has undergone changes, which we will tell you in the next section of this article.

TOEFL online test:

The reading section lasts about 54 to 74 minutes and offers about 3 to 4 texts. Only 10 questions are asked from each text.
The audio section lasts between 41 and 57 minutes and the audio files are presented in the form of two conversations and one long speech or one conversation and one short speech.
The conversation section, which lasts about 17 minutes and includes six different tasks.
The writing section, which takes about 50 minutes and contains two different tasks that you must complete.
TOEFL paper test:

The audio section lasts between 30 and 40 minutes and consists of three sections.
The structure and part of the conversation takes about 25 minutes and includes 25 questions and 25 examples to diagnose problems.
The reading section, which lasts about 50 minutes and contains 50 questions from the text.
A piece of writing that takes about thirty minutes and includes writing an essay of 250 to 300 words.

How to take the TOEFL test
Reading

In this section, you will be presented with five texts with academic topics and then you will be asked questions about these texts.

Listening skills

After passing the reading and comprehension stage, we reach the listening section. In this section, audio files are played for you, which are usually about scientific and academic lectures.

Speaking Skills

This section consists of six different tasks. Two tasks of this section are independent and four tasks are presented in a non-independent and integrated form. In the independent task, the applicant must express his / her opinion and opinion on a common topic, but in the combined task, in addition to your conversational skills, your reading and listening skills will also be tested. According to this task, you should read the source and combine and express the information obtained.

This section consists of two parts. In the first part of the text, you will be presented with 200 to 300 words that you should read and memorize the general points. You should also listen to the other part through headphones and memorize its contents well. This audio interval violates or confirms the content of the 200 to 300 words you read.

Then questions are asked about the problem form that you should write down your ideas based on your information from the text and audio file. The minimum written text should be between 150 and 200 words.

In the next section, you will be presented with a topic about which you should write a three-paragraph essay. The minimum number of words for this section is 300 words.
